About Sta. Maria della Strada Parish
Before the Sta. Maria della Strada Parish was established, its faithful were part of the St. Joseph Archdiocesan Shrine Parish along Aurora Boulevard. However, by the late 1970s, the growing community, as well as the increasing number of the transient student population from the neighboring schools necessitated the establishment of a new parish.
On January 9, 1981, the Della Strada Parish was established by the late Jaime Cardinal Sin and its first parish priest, Msgr. Patricio H. Lim, was installed on March 25 of the same year.
